Jesus said to him, “Friend, do what you came to do.” Then they came up and laid hands on Jesus and seized him. (Matthew 26:50)
A sweet comment from a reader recently filled my mind with things I want you to know.
So, here it is.
Plain and simple.
How I feel.
One of my favorite things about this blog is the conversation we have between us. Our discussions on topics as we go along makes me feel like you’re really here with me. And always, always, I learn so much from you. You inspire me!
I hope you read through the comments on each post because there are usually tidbits (sometimes chunks!) of information in them.
Does it seem like I’m saying, “Talk to me, people!” by asking so many questions?
OK, well…I am! 🙂
I ask questions toward the end of most posts because I really want to know what you’re up to, how you do things, to get your perspective. And, other readers benefit from your additions, too.
I always want to provide information you need or want. You coming here to read my posts isn’t about me.
It’s about me giving you something of value.
As it turns out, you give me something very valuable. God has blessed me so much through your kindnesses. He’s the reason behind my blogging venture, and I want you to know how much He influences things. Having faith in God changes everything in our lives – even little things like this blog.
Do you feel the Lord by your side? Do you know Him as your best friend?
I read a great e-book this week called Why Jesus is the Best Friend You Could Ever Have by Rocky Henriques.
It’s a wonderful mini-book. I have many books on the Amazon Kindle App on my phone. I haven’t read all of them because they’re usually very long – you know, novel sized.
Right after Rocky Henriques’ book appeared on my phone app, I began reading it. It wasn’t necessarily a time when I was cuddled up to read a good book. I was in the middle of something. But, I sat there and read the entire thing right then. That’s never happened before, so that should tell you how I was glued to this book!
The book was free at the time of my download, so I contacted Dr. Henriques to inquire about extending the deal for you. So, Why Jesus is the Best Friend You Could Ever Have (by Rocky Henriques) will be available to you and your friends for free tomorrow through Wednesday (August 17-19, 2015). If you follow the link today, it will be the regular price. But starting tomorrow, it will be free through Wednesday.
I’ll post the link again tomorrow morning for your free copy. Feel free to share with all your friends, and also please provide your review on Amazon.
To shorten this post, I’m providing a link to my review (by JJ), along with others – all 5 star reviews – here on Amazon.
Other books on Henriques’ Amazon page look interesting, as well. I hope you’ll check them out. (I’m going to.)
You’ll notice these are also available in paperback. (I will not receive payment of any type for any of Henriques’ books if you order. Opinions given in this post are solely mine.)
Thank you again for being such sweet and faithful readers. I hope this freebie mini-book blesses you as much as you’ve blessed me. Have a spectacular Sunday, y’all!
