Why You Should Become a Pest

Can you believe God wants you to be a pest?  Yep.  He welcomes pestering.  Look what He says in this passage.  Then the Lord said,

Learn a lesson from this unjust judge.  Even he rendered a just decision in the end.
So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people
who cry out to him day and night?  Will he keep putting them off?
I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly!  But when the Son of Man returns,
how many will he find on the earth who have faith?  (Luke 18:6-8)

A widow had pestered the unjust judge day after day.  He didn’t care about her, but in order to get her to leave him alone, he saw to it that she got justice.

God is so good to us.  He is a good, good Father!

We must keep our faith strong by leaning on God’s promises that we’ve seen each Sunday over the last several weeks.

We must keep our eyes on the Lord and His promises, and our good Father will get us through.

Just returned from early Mass and your post is echoing today’s gospel and sermon. Plus I have to admit to being a big time pest recently.

Isn’t it wonderful confirmation when God repeats His theme throughout our day? I love that! That’s a very good admission, in my book. 🙂
