Last year, tartan plaids were all the rage, and I had a major crush. That crush isn’t totally over, either.
I’m not the only one, am I?
This is a mixture of fall colors I wouldn’t normally mix together all on one table. Sometimes it pays to try new things.
Straw and wood decorative balls, sparkly pumpkins, and horse apples rest on straw inside the large, weathered box.
The crops had some areas where the planter didn’t put seed in the ground, so weeds grew like crazy in large sections. I’ve been making lemonade from those “lemons”.
Many things contributed to this table of texture!
Rattan chargers ground the plate stack.
Owl salads take top position.
Owl S&P’s stand ready to season the tastings.
This one brings candle light.
The weathered box came from upstairs – off the wall a few months ago – from the bathroom with changes for major impact.
I wanted to use it for other decorations throughout the house, so I replaced it with another shelf. Why hide the neat box upstairs in a bathroom? Ha!
Do you have any weathered boxes that need bringing out into the light?
I’m sharing this table at Tablescape Thursday. Follow along for more Halloween fun!
