I’m at my parents’ house this week. PAM (Painter Artist Mom) has plenty of fun dish sets, but this one is my favorite.
She has a special china cabinet beside the breakfast room table for these dishes from Bombay.
Did you notice the platter on the bottom shelf?
I’ll brag a little since PAM’s not here to scold me. She painted the farmhouse where she grew up. Yep…that’s why I call her Painter Artist Mom.
Surely she has the perfect tablecloth, but I have no idea where she hides those. They weren’t in the sideboard. Hmm…
PAM is convalescing in the hospital until tomorrow. She received a shiny new hip yesterday.
Don’t worry. She’s doing great!
I won’t go into detail, but PAM will scoot around with a walker when she arrives. If it’s like last time, within a couple of days, she’ll be dragging it behind her.
Uh, is that really how that thing works? You’re doing so well, let’s take a rehab break for some tea…
There are four colors of each of the plates, cups, and saucers in purple, yellow, blue, and pink.
The flower plates are set over pure white salads that also have flower-shaped edging. White dinner plates are their everyday dishes.
Lettuce leaves highlight the place settings, which include flowers of three pieces in varying colors.
Napkin rings are tea pots – perfect for our tea. I found the napkin drawer and created a layered effect.
Tea service is at the ready.
Tea is ready for PAM and HBD to return. I hope they like their Peek into Spring Tea.
Naturally, Floppy is eyeing the lettuce leaves.
No worries…he’ll never make it without tripping over those ears!
Are you anxious for Spring? Do you enjoy tea only when it’s cold outside? Looks like we’re in for plenty of tea time with the Northern blizzard coming soon. Brr….!
I’m sharing at Tablescape Thursday. After our tea, hop on over for the party!
