I’ve been making more ornaments for gifts and for our tree this year.
Do you remember when I made these last month? (Ornaments from 1970’s Light Fixtures)
On a recent trip to Hob Lob, I picked up a card of glittery stickers.
It was easy to stick the snowflakes and crosses on the glass pieces.
The glittery ribbon makes them sparkle even better!
Some will be gifts, or probably an adornment for the gift wrap and bow.
Remember these that I etched with an initial?
I really love the initialed ones! This next one is made by spray-painting the initial onto fabric, then attaching it onto the back side with Mod Podge.
Our tree is filled with ornaments of many types. When HH and I were engaged, my co-workers gave me an ornament shower since we were having a Christmas wedding. I still have those ornaments, and we’ve added many more over the years.
Each ornament brings a special memory of a friend or family member or a trip we took or other special times. My favorites are the handy work of our kids. They are more special than anything, y’all!! If you have kids, you know it! Talk about love, harmony, and comfort? That’s what our Christmas tree brings to our home. I hope yours does, too.
