Maybe I should have published this post last month, but it has been so hot until now. It has felt like August these past weeks in Mississippi. Last night, cool temps moved in. Woo-hoo!
With our week ahead of fall-ish temps, I’m beyond ready to make fall pillows! How about you? There’s plenty of time to DIY some easy fall pillow projects. We have five weeks before Thanksgiving arrives. Can you believe it?
Even if you’ve been making pillows the lazy crafter’s way, you can step up your game with a few more quick pillows to finish out your fall.
Christie at Sparkles of Sunshine made these nifty Dollar Store Leaf Pillow Covers. (I saw place mats at Dollar Tree that would be great for this pillow project.) Isn’t this fun? Transform any pillow in your home to this great leaf pillow!
Becca from Home is Where My Story Begins made Those Aren’t Pillows from place mats. I have a few of these floating around. Why haven’t I thought of this?
If you’d rather paint a pillow cover, Meg at Green with Decor shows how to add a pumpkin for A DIY Fall Pillow. Such a cute pumpkin!
JoAnn at SweetPepperRose shows her technique for making these Easy Place Mat Pillows. You won’t believe how she does this!
This No-Sew Burlap Pumpkin Pillow from Knock-Off Decor is a Pottery Barn pillow knock-off. I want one!
If you’re into Halloween stuff, this little cutie from Kris at Driven by Decor looks ultra easy to make! Her pillow really is the cutest little mummy pillow (that’s super simple to make)!
There. I think this should hold us over until Thanksgiving.
I don’t mean to scare you (before Halloween even!), but as soon as the Thanksgiving meal dishes are cleaned and put away (leftovers stashed), we’ll be thrust into all thoughts of…dare I say the C word?
Not to worry, Scarlet.
That will be another day, and we’ll worry about that tomorrow (or the tomorrow after Thanksgiving). 🙂
I’m sharing these pillows at Metamorphosis Monday. Click the linked title and join us for the fun! 🙂
