This is my second year of setting tablescapes. I decided to write this review as a way for you (and me!) to back up and see a few of them. This is a collection of tables I’ve set throughout the year, not only during summer, but tablescapes that would work perfectly right now, smack-dab in the middle of summer.
I hope you find some favorites among them.
Don’t we all want something refreshing in this heat? How about this Lemon-Inspired Tablescape?
You could easily replace the forsythia with any yellow summer blooms.
The cotton blooms are developing nicely in some surrounding fields, so this High Cotton Tablescape would be appropriate.
Navy and white fit any season, so this Chevron (Finished!) Tablescape would work well. Add an anchor into the mix, and it would say summer sailing.
Don’t we find worms throughout summer, and aren’t the birds still building nest and laying eggs?
Again, maybe replace the forsythia.
Those of you with gardens may be sick of pulling weeds, but the die-hard gardeners are readying their soil for fall planting. The Gardening Tips Tablescape has some fun reminders.
Is your Lavender still in bloom? Mine is, barely, but still the Lost Lavender China Lives Tablescape extends through fading Lavender blooms.
A Breakfast at the Farm Tablescape is fitting for any time during summer. Watermelon lives on…
The weather is still perfect for Baptismal Sundays here in the South.
And, for a summer season wrap-up, why not have the perfect Garden Party Tablescapes and “Serving Scapes”?
Mr. and Mrs. Garden Party wouldn’t mind if you copied a few of their ideas, I’m sure. They’d want you to have fun!
I hope you enjoyed the review. Maybe you saw a post or two you missed along the way. Before we start setting apple tablescapes and thinking of all things fall, enjoy these ending days of August.
Savor the season!
Did something in these tablescapes snag a little inspiration or jog your memory? Don’t we all need a review now and then?
I’m sharing with Tablescape Thursday. You, of course, are invited to join us!
