Quick St. Patrick’s Day Table Transition

Last week in my tablescape post (The March Is On!  Early Spring Tablescape), there was a lot of green but no direct link to St. Patrick’s Day.

Spring Tablescape for March

Rather than set an entirely new table for St. Patrick’s Day, I changed the center collection of numbered planters.

Dollar Tree had the perfect packages of gold coins – plastic ones rather than chocolate filled foil.

Maybe these coins won’t disappear!

Cupts and Saucers of Pots of Gold

This is such an easy way to be set for a St. Patty’s breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner.

Quick St. Patrick's Day Table Transition

You cannot get any easier than pots topped with salad plates, demitasse cups and saucers, and coins.  The only thing we’re missing is a rainbow.

The sun is shining here too much for that.  Will these pink tulips make a good replacement for a rainbow?

Pink Tulips for Spring

They grew quickly from the plants inside the numbered planters on last week’s tablescape.  They sure grew up and bloomed fast!

Spunky Daughter and I have enjoyed these pink tulips so much!  She said she has always loved tulips since she grew up seeing them in our Georgia yard each spring.  Funny…I’d forgotten that.  Tulips don’t grow here very well, but I think I’ll pick up a few each spring in the future to enjoy in pots!

Do you have tulips in your yard?  Do you love their cheerfulness?

I can’t help it.  They make me smile!  How about you?

Thanks, Pam. Yes, tulips cheer me up, too! I wish they had a longer bloom period so we could enjoy them longer. 🙂

Very cute Kim! Love the numbered clay pot centerpiece. I love tulips and have some in my yard. I just brought in a pot of daffodils that I set in my garden in hopes to bring it in this spring. We’re thawing out enough that I was able to get it out of the snow today! Those tulips surely took off fast for you!

Thanks, Liz. The pots are so versatile. You have such a beautiful yard…I would expect tulips and daffodils. Happy digging!
