Praise Him in the Storm

Vacation Bible School starts tomorrow.  It will be a wonderfully fun (and busy!!) and blessed week.    My post today is short – still so much to prepare for the week.

We’ve had a lot of rain lately.  Last night before dark, I glanced out the front window and noticed a very dark cloud hanging low right over us.  HH and I ran outside to get a closer look.

Storm Cloud

Isn’t that an awesome sight?  To the right, you can see the rain.  We could hear the rain as it approached, hitting the leaves of the soybean plants in the field.

As it turned out, there was only a little lightning and a nice, short rain.  Not much concern there.

That amazing view displays the true power of God.  A praise-worthy storm!  If only we could have an awesome view like this for our life storms.

I’m reminded of this song by Casting Crowns called “Praise You in This Storm”, and I want to share it with you.  Good music, that Casting Crowns….

I pray you have a spectacular Sunday.  Storm or not, let’s praise Him!  🙂

Do you have a void in your life you can’t seem to fill?  I’ve got a little perspective on that, and I think it might interest you.  Click here.

Thank you for visiting! ~ Just a note to remind you to follow me through RSS feed, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Google+, Instagram,  or Hometalk.  Also, I’d love it if you shared Curtain Queen Creates  with all your sweet friends.  Thanks, y’all.

You reminded me of a time past, when I got scared driving from Atlanta to home here in Florida to see my parents…… gosh can it ever come down on that last leg of GA. And the very next morning or maybe the day after in church, our pastor preached about FEAR… I have never been afraid again t o drive in blinding rain. I just take care, use my brain and tell that old devil to be gone. Fear is the devil himself…… and I will not tolerate him.

    Have a wonderful Sunday!

Thank you, Sheryll. Yes, fear is from the devil. You are so wise not to give him control of you through fear!
