The colors for pool parties are so festive and fun.
At the old neighborhood pool in Georgia, we’d gather with friends and swim, chat, snack, swim, chat, order pizza, and swim and then chat some more.
We stayed until kids’ skin was shriveled like raisins, eyes crossed from exhaustion…that was the point, right? Wear their little hind ends out so they would sleep soundly that night.
Our favorite pool snack was fresh cherries.
This bowl my parents gave me a few years ago reminds me so much of our days at the pool.
I found these plates at Dollar Tree recently, along with the pink place mats, orange and red glasses.
I added an everyday white dinner plates and the summer melamine plates from T. J. Maxx. I love how it looks like sliced fruit on the plate.
Since I look sick in orange, I enjoy using it occasionally in decorating. That’s the case with lime green, too. Do you do that?
The napkins have orange, red, pink, gold, lime, and grey. It looks better in person than the pictures. :-/
Hawaiian leis are fun for added color.
