I had three clay pots on our front porch for well over a year. I was using them to hide metal citronella candles. A couple of weeks ago, as I passed by them with my broom, inspiration suddenly hit.
After a very thorough brushing off with my bare hand, I whisked them up to the project studio for a make-over. I gave them two quick coats of Annie Sloan Pure White.
I found some number stencils in my stash.
I tested a few until I found what I wanted.
Yes, these numbers turned right-side-up are also numbers when turned up-side-down.
Yes, one coat of Annie Sloan Arles over the stencils will do all that.
Yes, you see the idea. This way, they’re so versatile! You KNOW you’ll be seeing these everywhere on my tables and porches this spring. 🙂
Is there anything more quick, cheap, and fun? (OK, well maybe, but what?)
