Over the weekend, we hosted a gathering of young adults and needed something sweet to add to our Tex-mex meal.
This “Marshmallow Brownies by Six Sisters” recipe was in my “to try” stack. They were a hit with my family – and the gathering – but, let me warn you – they are rich. I cut way too large of pieces. (So, maybe cut yours into smaller bites.)
The brownies are made in three steps.
Step 1: The brownie batter. Blessings abound! Don’t you want to dive your finger in there?
The batter is baked in a rimmed baking sheet, so it’s shallow.
Step 2. The marshmallows. When you take the brownie pan out of the oven, you spread a package of tiny marshmallows all over the top and brown it for about 3 minutes. (It was 5 minutes in my oven. I like marshmallows toasted well.)
Step 3. The frosting. After the marshmallows cool, you spread a creamy frosting over the top, and this is what you get.
Oops! One more step.
Step 4. The eating. Savor each bite, y’all. They’re rich and creamy, and you can taste those toasted marshmallows!
