I’m not finished. Our tree isn’t up yet. We must remember…it’s not yet December.
Christmas decorating is running a little behind schedule at our house. I’ve been in the project studio working on surprises. 😉
But…in the kitchen, Santa is busily saying “Ho!”
It’s sort of an olde time look. Don’t you think?
Santa and his reindeer are gathering early.
Santa is preparing for his annual chimney diving.
Into each house he’ll go….
Ho! Ho! Ho!
You probably recognize the Santa plates. They’re the salads I found at Wal-Mart while on our trip When Struck with Wanderlust in Dallas.
I still haven’t found them at any other stores. Have you seen the Santa plates at your Wal-Mart store(s)?
The Santa Beard Table Runners I made last Christmas. I overlaid them with ribbon from Michael’s. Remember I told you I found lots of ribbon at Michael’s for 70 percent off?
I bought the buffalo check mugs at Hobby Lobby early in fall before all the Christmas decorations were out. They had plates to match, but I resisted.
We use Christmas plaid flatware holiday season for one table or another. Yikes! Santa’s eyes are a bit shocking sometimes.
I could use Sharpie to add eyelashes – like I did for my Betsy. Lashes cure scary eyes!
But, at some point, we’ll eat from the Santa plates. So, he can keep his lashes eyes to say, “Ho!”
The napkin rings are simple white ceramic. I wrote “Ho!” on each one with Sharpie™ marker. It wipes off easily when you want them white again.
What’s happening at your house? Are you still decorating for Christmas? Relax…there’s plenty of time. Two more whole days until December. 🙂
