You do realize Memorial Day is upon us, don’t you? It just hit me that it’s two weeks from yesterday!
So, what’s a girl to do when she’s not ready for an event?
We dig into our bag of tricks and recycle, that’s what!
Let’s review a few tables from the past, shall we? Click each picture to visit the post for details.
Imagine red in place of the green plates and apples, and what do you have?
Yes, that would be perfect colors for a Memorial Day gathering.
Speaking of perfect, this table would work if you added a red touch here and there.
Imagine Berry Lime Sorbet in the stemmed compotes – just like in my Tablescape Red, White, and Blue for Memorial Day three years ago.
I didn’t realize how many blue and white tablescapes I’ve done. Here’s another in blue and white – no red, but it’s easily added. What would you do? Would you paint the one blue gourd in the centerpiece a nice shade of red?
And, do you remember the Chevron one? Just imagine a huge bouquet of red roses in that vase. That would fix it right up for Memorial Day!
Guess what! I basically did that with THIS tablescape for Memorial Day two years ago – except with that huge Magnolia blossoms rather than red roses.
The weather’s so warm, let’s head to the patio with this Memorial Table of stars from last year.
How about a few recipe ideas?
Or, try the steak. It’s just as good with steak!
Pasta salad is good as an entrée – or as a side.
In the south, we can’t have an occasion in warm seasons without our good ol’ deviled eggs! And, here they are…dressed for the Memorial Day occasion.

Have I mentioned that my mind is losing faster than it’s gaining these days? Ha! I’m so glad I have this blog with pictures to refer back to!
So, how about it? Are you inspired and ready for your Memorial Day gathering?
