What (or Who) Inspires You?

Last week on Thursday, I participated in Blogelina’s Blogger’s Night Out.  It was an afternoon and night of informative blogging articles and give-away fun.  At one point, Tanya @Blogelina asked us to share what we do for inspiration.   Of course, we were discussing blog post ideas, but it can apply to anything.  So, I ask you:

What do you do for inspiration?

Inspiration of any kind – for your hobby, your job, projects around your home, parenting (and discipline) ideas, your relationships, and everything about the way you live your life.

We often are inspired by others.  Reading the words of a strong leader who is an exceptional example of living well can inspire us.

When I answered the question on Thursday, it was fairly simple for me.

Music.  In particular, Christian music.

When I’m driving alone in my car, I pop in a CD and listen to praise and worship music.  I could write a book when driving a long way!  If I recorded all my thoughts (since I can’t write while driving), it would be such a help when later trying to recall everything flooding through my mind.

On this Spectacular Sunday morning, I’m sharing (as I often do) a couple of hours of music to enjoy.  For anytime you wish.  Maybe it will inspire you, too.

There are many examples of inspiring things and people I could share.  But, I’d rather hear from you today.

What gets your juices flowing?  Who inspires you?

Can we talk about that, y’all?  How I would love to know you better!

Thank you for visiting! ~ I’d like to invite you to follow me through RSS feed, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Google+, Instagram,  or Hometalk.  Also, I’d love it if you shared Curtain Queen Creates with all your sweet friends.

    Good Morning Kim,
What inspires me: The Lord and all the beauty and nature he has provided! As well as wonderful people!

I agree, Debbi. The Designer of all is the source of the things that inspire us. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. 🙂

I’m easy, Kim, as it doesn’t take much to inspire me. It can be a work of art, a talented speaker, a good book, the colors outside my window. Well, you get the picture. You just never know from where the next good idea is going to come.

That doesn’t surprise me, Linda. I picture you as a calm, steady person, easy-going. 🙂 Thank you for sharing that.
