Or, is it Ouside-In?
Do you “winter” some outside plants inside?
My bleeding heart is in bloom, cheering up my master bath. Love those petite white flowers with the pop of red!
But it needs to go back outside – and this year, into the ground!
All my plants are bursting out of their pots. These in the bath area are climbing up the window, around the tub, and down along the floor. I know, I know. Trim them.
Do you have trouble cutting green stuff? Brown stuff in winter is supposed to be cut, y’all. Not green.
If Spring will only hurry up just a little, get warmer outside, then my rooms will be a little “roomier” without all the plants taking over.
Have you done your winter pruning? Again, I know, I know. February was the month (for we Southerners, anyway).
In January, we had snow and cold – seemed too early for pruning.
In February, we had rain, rain, and more rain. See how slick the driveway is? It’s gravel, but you see all the water there. Who wants to prune on rainy, dreary (and muddy!) days?
I’ve been embracing this season from inside. God has such beauty for us to take in!
Have you noticed the beauty we’ve seen this winter?
Have you checked off some things on your indoor project “to do” list?
Now that we’re seeing a little sun here and there, it’s still very muddy. Maybe my pruning can wait another few days…Never do today what can be put off ’til tomorrow.
What was my point again?
Oh yeah. Hurry up, Spring! Please?
