Do you enjoy wedding reception tables with a different china pattern at each place setting? I think they’re so pretty! The individual china sets give the table such interest and beauty.
I copied the idea and set the same sort of table with some of our every-day dishes.
The seasons progress around the table, so guests can choose their favorite season represented in their plate.
Or, they can choose the owl or the squirrel, which are good for any season.
I might have trouble choosing a season, too. I love each one!
The table-cloth color is not quite red. It’s sort of on the pink side, but it has a slight orange-y cast in some lighting.
In direct sunlight, it definitely looks more pink.
At one point, I placed my everyday salad plates around the table.
I was curious to see how it would look with the white containers holding the moss spheres you saw yesterday.
The moss spheres inspired the green cabbage/lettuce dinner plates, which led to placing the tea towel Mom 2 gave me on a side chair.
She had this portrait of Spunky Daughter (painted by PAM – Painter Artist Mom) in mind when she bought the tea towel.
SD got mixed up when saying her prayers as a young child…
God is great for our food,
Thank you for the lettuce.
Do you have a favorite season? Or, are you like me…you love them all?
