Happy 4th of July! I hope, as you reflect on our country’s independence today, that you are thankful. Although things don’t seem perfectly wonderful in our country these days, we still enjoy many freedoms.
I’d like to share something for my blogging friends today. Beginning now through the Monday, July 7th, at 9 a.m. MDT, Bluehost is offering a promotional rate for signing up for their hosting service. Click the link to the right in my sidebar to go check them out.
I’ve just renewed with them for a second year, and I have been extremely pleased with Bluehost. They have responded to my every need quickly and efficiently. Being fairly new at this, I have many questions (and mostly not-so-bright ones). Bluehost has been patient and kind when responding to every question.
If you use a WordPress platform, Bluehost has many WordPress instructional videos on YouTube. I enjoy them very much, and I think you will, too.
I also wanted to update you on the Craftsy photography class I took earlier this year. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but my photographs are better than they were last year. As in everything about blogging, it’s a slow process on this huge learning curve.
There are aspects of photography that are separate from camera settings. Things like negative space, the rule of thirds, and other things I never knew about before taking this class.
I enjoy the flexibility of viewing the classes as many times as I wish and whenever I wish. Once you pay for the class, it’s in your account forever. Return at any time to view or review a lesson.
So, you should check them out. Craftsy has sales on classes quite often, so don’t let money be an issue.
Once you sign up with Craftsy (it’s free), they offer you special deals occasionally. I’ve been wanting to take the Artisan Bread Making course for a while now. I’ve been rather busy, so it’s not been on my radar for the last couple of months.
Craftsy sent me an email this week that said, “Just what you’ve been waiting for – your wish Granted.” They offered me a deal I couldn’t refuse on the Artisan Bread Making class – 75% off! I signed up immediately, since this was the lowest price I’ve ever seen Craftsy offer. I look forward to sharing some things I learn in that class later.
There’s a Craftsy ad in my right sidebar. Click the ad to check out their varied class list. I think you’ll find the perfect class for a new skill to tackle this summer – or simply something fun and interesting to do.
What have you been doing lately? Are you energized to start a new project?
Thank you for visiting! ~ Just a note to remind you to follow me through RSS feed, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, or Hometalk. Also, I’d love it if you shared Curtain Queen Creates with all your sweet friends. Thanks, y’all.
