Have you been waiting for a little Halloween tablescape inspiration? What took me so long?
Truth is, I love fall. It’s my favorite season. But with no small children around, Halloween isn’t at the forefront of my mind during fall.
Only apples, leaves, and pumpkins I hear,
Except when a goulash mood appears.
It’s been two years since my last Halloween-themed table (Table Trapped in Her Web).
My supply is rather limited for spooky decorations, so I decided to get creative here at Hood Manor.
Let’s begin, shall we?
Grab your favorite libation,
To enjoy on our wickedly fun peregrinations.
Bats and spiders on table-cloth matters not,
No more critters this table has got.
With no witches at all, I’ve designed my own brew,
Only fun and sweet delight for you!
The brew pot supply is dwindling fast.
I question – until next Monday will the goodies last?
All white dishes with an occasional splash,
Black and orange from my frightening dish stash.
Dollar Tree plastics nest well in everyday bowls, I think,
A nice but slightly odd koinkidink.
Summer plastic plates join the fun.
Careful…in the web, don’t be spun!
Candles lit even when it’s day,
For nearly a black and white display.
Lace-adorned candle holders in the center mixed.
Black lace undies were aligned and a-fixed.
Apothecary jars filled with cocktail onions,
May look like eye-balls, but they taste like Funyans™.
Water over eye-balls allows tea lights to float,
And lights from white pumpkins do glow’t.
Tea light in a pumpkin stack that arrives on the sphere,
With resemblance of a snowman hat, recycled from winter last year.
One lone white pumpkin wrapped in gauzy webbing,
Hidden behind for a grueling ebbing.
How about you?
Did you enjoy the view?
I’m sharing this table at Tablescape Thursday. Join the fun!
