I don’t know if you would actually call this a wreath.
I thought a wreath pretty much had to be round – or square. How about we call this a grape-vine cross?
I bought the cross around Christmas last year in an antique shop. After removing the Christmas greenery and bow, I hung it inside the craft cave door.
About a month ago, I bought this fuzzy moss bunny on a stick at Pier One, so I stuck it into the vine.
When I took my Easter decor out of the attic, the painted egg wreath caught my eye for adding color to the cross. You can find a similar one at Kroger – plain colored eggs on a round vine wreath, and nice looking for a reasonable price ($10-$15).
I made a fresh plaid bow with some new wired ribbon. To learn how to make one, see my post Make a Decorative Bow.
I wired the egg wreath and bow onto the cross with some 8-gauge wire.
You can’t beat that for easy! We’re all set for Easter.
Have you made a door decoration for Spring or Easter? If not, do you plan to?
