Many of you entered the Birthday Fun Give-Away over the last week. Thank you very much for participating, sharing your age(!), and making this give-away so much fun for me!
Fun is one of my favorite things in life. How about you?
How I would love to send a package to each of you who entered! That’s the thing about contests…there’s only one winner.
Rafflecopter randomly drew from the give-away entries who also left a comment on my post.
The winner is a 52-year-old mother of four in the Atlanta area. (How does she have time to read my blog?) This busy mom will receive her package in a few days. Here’s what she said about winning.
I am so excited that I won! I read Kim’s blog every day and really enjoy it!! I feel like it’s a visit with Kim at her kitchen table!
I love to cook (and cook alot with 4 children!), so this gift will be very useful!!
Of course, our winner gets all three gift items, but the gift she’s referring to is the Seasons in the South cookbook by Ginny McCormack.
I have this cookbook, as well, and love it. We’ve never joined in with football tail-gating fun, but this year, our tent is ready and our spot on campus is all picked out.
I combed through Ginny’s cookbook and made my list of recipes to prepare for tail-gate Saturday noshings. I’ve never been more excited about football season! (There’s that “love of fun” trait showing again.)
Here are a few recipes on my list from Seasons of the South:
Pineapple and Bacon Cheese Log
Carrot Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting
Fully Loaded Pimento Cheese
Baked Brie and Fruit Chutney
Don’t they sound delicious? And, those are just a few of the recipes in Ginny’s Seasons in the South cookbook. It’s packed with full meal menus and recipes, pretty food pictures and southern scenery, too.
You can order your own copy of Seasons of the South here or Sunday in the South (Ginny’s first cookbook) here. (Just so you know, Ginny isn’t paying me to tell you this information. I just know you’d love her books!)
Find the author, Ginny, on Facebook at Ginny McCormack Cooks. You’ll want to “Like” her page and get all her posts – some great recipes shared there, too! Ginny has a new website called Southern Sisters Home.
Thanks again for entering the give-away! I’m planning another for Christmas season. Won’t that be fun?
